Today’s entry in my Style Inspiration Series is another look inspired by Anne Hathaway as “Jules” in The Intern. I have re-created one of her outfit’s before (here), but I think that her wardrobe is the best “young professional fashionista” wardrobe I have seen in a movie. I want every outfit worn by Anne Hathaway in this movie magically transferred into my closet!
What
I like about this look is that it serves as a great reminder that the
bold combination of red & leopard print can work for a professional
look if styled correctly. Keeping the accessories to a minimum and
wearing a menswear style blazer tone down the red/leopard and create an
excellent work look.

What do you think of this work look? Would you wear red & leopard to the office? I’d love to hear your thoughts! My main tips on wearing a combination of red & leopard print to work are:
1) Keep your accessories to a minimum
2) Keep the leopard print to a smaller item (shoes or a handbag are perfect)
3) Look for materials and fabrics that are high quality to keep the look professional
I hope you all have a great start to your work week. It has been so nice and warm here in Vancouver so I plan on wearing spring looks to work all week. If you follow along on instagram I’ll make sure to post some of them.

Love this. I miss my red pencil skirt that I styled numerous ways for the office. I'd love to have another one and red pants too.
Anne Hathaway is one of my style idols. Great picks; you totally rock it! I'm going to look for some pieces to emulate this one myself!

Wow! You've recreated this so well! I love the red pants and they suit you. I'm a little shy about bright coloured trousers haha, always lurking in the neutrals.
