It is day 9 of Dressember and I am having a blast styling dresses every day! Some days have certainly been more challenging than others (did you see my instagram story about us getting snow on Monday?!) but overall it’s going well! 

Of course, choosing to wear a dress every day is made way easier with cute dresses like this one! I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. From the stripes, to the fit & flare cut, to the jewelled collar, I was hooked! I was also shocked at how cheap this dress was (especially given the quality – which is surprisingly really good)

Red & stripes is such a classic combination that I just had to pair this striped dress with a red trench coat. I love red winter coats as they always make me feel brighter and bolder on a cold or gloomy day. 

I can’t believe it is already December 9th. I have been going nuts this week with Christmas events- from holiday get-togethers in support of local charities, to exploring the Vancouver Christmas Maze, to having two friends over to decorate my Christmas tree. It’s been an (awesome) holiday whirlwind. I hope to get a little bit of downtime this weekend to wrap presents by the fire and maybe have a rum and eggnog – my perfect “zen” time.
