If there are two things I can’t get enough of right now it’s floral print and the fanny pack trend. …Okay, make that three things; coffee too. … Definitely coffee. Floral print is something I find myself loving every spring (original I know haha) but belt bags / fanny packs are a new love. When I shared this belt bag outfit idea, I knew I loved my white Gucci inspired belt bag, but I wasn’t sure if I would be investing in another fanny pack (or two) for the season. Turns out, I definitely am!
This black belt bag was a perfect second addition to my fanny pack collection. The black faux leather is classic and I love the Chevron pattern. This belt bag, unlike my other one, is a bit bigger – more akin to a classic crossbody so it easily holds my wallet, keys and a pair of sunglasses.
Alright, enough about my belt bag! Let’s talk about the rest of this outfit. My floral button down is one I ordered online from H&M after seeing it and instantly falling in love with the pink color and floral print. What I did not expect was the material – so be forewarned – it is a pretty odd almost scuba like material. It’s weird; but I’ve gotten used to it. My white midi skirt is one I have had for years now, and I find myself re-wearing it every spring with different spring-y tops. I just love how fresh and polished a white midi skirt with a spring top feels!
For my accessories for this outfit, I wanted to compliment the white midi skirt and floral top, but also create a sort of 6o’s palm springs meets meets fun 80’s style. To do that, in addition to the black belt bag I went with black patent pumps (they are just so shiny, I love them!) and oversized sunnies. For my jewelry I went with a simple heart locket necklace and – what really gives me the palm springs vibe – brushed gold palm leaf earrings. The earrings are from my favorite jewelry boutique – Olive & Piper.

These photos were taken last week at the cutest coffee shop I just found here in Vancouver. Britta (from Vancouver Vogue) and I are always on the hunt for new coffee shops to try after we shoot blog photos. We have a weakness for rewarding ourselves post-shoot with coffees & treats haha! Honolulu Coffee was so good! The coffee is almost as good as their beautiful Hawaiian decor! I definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in Vancouver and are as much of a coffee / sweet treat addict as Britta and I are.
