I am hooked on finding flattering and fun women’s suits for spring and summer. (Did you catch my new frill suit that I shared last week?) When I saw this glen plaid floral embroidered suit I knew I had to get it! Glen plaid suits have been a fashion trend for both men and women for the past year, but the addition of the embroidered flowers just makes this suit feel so youthful and fashion forward!
This glen plaid floral embroidered suit is also one of those suits that looks more expensive than it is. I am always hesitant when shopping more affordable places for work wear – especially suits – because the wrong cut or wrong material can so easily make a suit look cheap. This suit is a definite exception to that. At under $120 CAD ($100 USD) for both the blazer and pants, this is suit is a steal!
glen plaid blazer // glen plaid pants // lace trim camisole // similar blue heels: (high heel) & (lower heel)
This suit would also look great worn as separates. If you are lucky and don’t have to wear a suit to work every day, the pants paired with a white button down would make for a stunning work day outfit! I’ve also been wearing the blazer on the weekends with jeans and white tee and have been digging that styling as well.
My only complaint about the glen plaid floral embroidered suit is that the material does wrinkle easily. That said, I think it’s because it is a thinner material; which I appreciate for spring and summer, so I will take a bit of wrinkle to keep me cool on a hot day!
Since the floral embroidery on the suit is quite the showstopper, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit neutral. I knew I wanted to wear a white top to make sure the white flowers on the jacket popped, so I went with my go-to lace trim camisole. And then to compliment the blues throughout the glen plaid I decide to wear my blue patent pumps. This glen plaid floral embroidered suit is such an happy work day look, and it definitely has me excited for spring and summer.

This is the perfect suit for spring/summer! Bummer about the material wrinkling..that would get annoying I’m sure after awhile…but it’s still so cute! Happy weekend, friend!
Exactly! It’s my only complaint about it. But, given the price of the suit I’m not too surprised. Still worth it for a suit to wear a couple times in the summer, it just won’t become one of my “staple” suits for work!
This is the best suit I have seen in years! Fabulous and unique!
Awww! I am so, so glad you like it! It really is such a fun and unique suit! I am definitely excited to start wearing it to work now that we have warm weather here!
That suit is so fun and unique! I love how the floral appliqués add a feminine touch to an otherwise more masculine look.
Thank you so much Amy! That’s exactly how I felt about it. Such a great way to make the traditional glen plaid more feminine and spring/summer appropriate!
I am absolutely gushing over this look over here. I want that suit jacket. I was trying to find one without luck but I might have to check this out! Love how stylish you look but completely work appropriate.

OMG I’m so jelly!! F21 here in the US was completely out of the blazer so I only managed to get the pants 🙂 the entire suit looks amazing on you!!!
Ahh that sucks! Definitely keep checking for restock! Glad you snagged the pants at least, they are so fun!
And thank you so much!
I love it!!! I have always loved glen plaid and adding the floral is wonderful!

That look a pretty well tailored suit. It is uniquely different compared to others. The small details are amazing.
