Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I had an insane Monday and Tuesday in Court (just beyond busy) but things are back to normal now for me for the rest of the week. And given that fact, I figured I would sneak on her and get in a Wednesday blog post since i haven’t share one in ages! … I basically just couldn’t wait to share this embroidered button down shirt outfit with you haha. But seriously, how stunning are the ruffles and embroidery detail on this shirt!
I’ve had this shirt for ages ( I wore it in this blog post over a year ago!) but Chic Wish recently re-stocked it since it was such a popular item. I’m glad anyone who missed it last time and snag one now! Get it asap though as I am sure it will sell out again quite quickly.
In last year’s blog post I paired it with a feminine midi skirt, but in my day to day life I am such a pants girl; I rarely wear skirts to work. Today then I wanted to share another way to style this embroidered button down shirt – a way that I often actually wear it to work.
These striped pants are yet another addition to my stripes collection… yes, I know I did just share with you a pair of striped culottes on Monday. What can I say.. stripes are my jam! Lol. There is something so fun about the combination of stripes and floral so I couldn’t resist pairing these striped tie-waist pants and the embroidered button down shirt together.
I also need to tell you about my shoes! They look like Manolo Blahnik’s right? … Yeah, they most definitely are not haha. If, like me, you love the look of Manolo’s but don’t love that $1000 price tag, then this DIY dupe is for you!
The dupe? Simply add shoe clips to any satin-esque pumps to create that Manolo look! The shoe clips I’m using here (linked below of course) are especially great since they very closely mirror the classic Manolo jeweled square. I do also have other shoe clips though- round rhinestone ones, bow ones, etc., and I love changing up the look of basic pumps with those as well.
