I am hitting the ground running this week since, you guessed it, I am already back at work today even though I just got back from Europe last night!
Since I’m back in Court today, it seemed only fitting to share a classic wear to work outfit as my first post back – so today I am sharing a stylish women’s pant suit.
As any woman who has to wear a suit knows, it is not easy finding a suit that is flattering on a woman’s body, is comfortable, and is chic. This suit meets all those criteria and is the perfect addition to your closet if you work in the corporate world.
It’s also quite reasonably priced, making it an excellent suit for all you amazing women starting off in your careers (… I’m looking at you law school 1L’s! Only a couple more weeks until law school starts for the year!)
The reason I think this suit is such a stylish women’s pant suit is the cut. The pants are slim fit through the hips and thighs but do have a more classic boot cut shape; perfect for a more traditional or conservative office environment.
I also love the three button blazer. I’ve noticed the trend in recent years towards one button blazers for women, but there is nothing like a well-fit three button blazer when it comes to creating a flattering line in a women’s suit.
I’m not wearing my actual every day work purse in these photos (that would be this bag, which I swear by) but that’s because I had to show you this gorgeous black cross body bag I received when I was in Los Angeles in July! This is my first piece from the Onna Ehrlich brand, and I am thrilled with the quality. I highly recommend this brand.
Before I finish this post I wanted to take about where these photos were taken/where I actually wore this outfit!
… Any guesses as to where these are taken?!
It’s the Supreme Court of Croatia!!! If you followed my Instagram stories of my travels you probably saw that while I’m Zagreb I couldn’t resist going to check out the Croatian Supreme Court.
As a true law nerd, I insist on going to the courthouses in every country I travel to, and this was no exception. It was really interesting to see the lawyers there and get a glimpse into life as a lawyer in Zagreb. (And of course to do so I wanted to look my best, so I had to wear this stylish women’s pant suit!)
I’ll be posting recaps of my travels here on the blog later in the week, so come back for that if you want to see more of what I did in Croatia and Montenegro!
