Vintage Inspired Style – Pink Pleated Skirt

This is one of my favorite outfits I think I have ever shared here on LegalLee Blonde. This pink pleated skirt is such a statement piece, right?! I wore this skirt a ton while I was visiting LA – read on for more ideas on the different ways to style this skirt!

I’m calling this particular outfit ‘vintage inspired’. I love the way the pink pleated skirt pairs with the vintage dove grey/rose gold luggage bag. This bag is part of a 3 piece matching luggage set i recently bought (you can see the set in this post) and I have been using this smallest piece as a handbag a lot since it is the perfect size and is so freaking cute.

Sweetheart necklines are a vintage style that I have always loved because I find it to be flattering when you have a larger chest like I do. When I found this white crop top with such an adorable sweetheart neckline; I knew it would be the perfect piece for this look.

Add in my Valentino rockstud dupes to the mix and you’ve got a feminine, vintage inspired blush and dove grey outfit! Walking around LA in this outfit I felt like an old-Hollywood movie star and I could not have been happier! I may have even done a few twirls while walking down the street haha.

Because I think this pink pleated skirt is such a versatile piece I also wanted to talk about other ways you can style it:

  • Night Out: I paired this with a black and blush lace bralette & wore it out for Saturday night drinks in LA. Pair the pink pleated skirt with any black bralette or corset and you’ve got a sexy but not too revealing date night or night out look
  • Work: I’ve actually also worn this skirt to the office twice this summer. Paired with a white button down shirt it is polished and professional. I’ve also styled it with a black sleeveless top, black blazer and black Gucci belt for a slighty edgier but still office appropriate outfit.
  • Casual Weekend: I also wore this during my LA trip when I went to explore Santa Monica. Because I knew I would be walking and exploring for hours I wanted to be comfortable so I paired it with my white keds and a chambray t-shirt. You can easily style this with a chambray/denim shirt or a graphic tee and wear it with runners for a casual look.

Which way to style the pink pleated skirt do you like best? Do you love the pink pleated skirt as much as I do!?!
