Monday mornings: Made better by Kate Spade New York since 1993.
Seriously though! How stunning is this Kate Spade New York Jacquard Suit? The photos don’t even do it justice. The material when you see it in person is even more detailed and more luxe. It truly looks like a wearable work of art. And guess what? I’m here to make your Monday morning brighter, because the blazer and pants of this Kate Spade New York Jacquard Suit (linked up below) are both on sale for 30% off!
The plum, wine and pink tones of this jacquard pattern make these pieces really unique and beautiful for fall. Clearly, I love them worn together as a full suit- it’s perfect for a bold office look- but the blazer and pants also make great pieces on their own. The jacquard blazer would look gorgeous with black denim & black over the knee boots. The pants I’ve worn to the office with a black cozy sweater and a black turtleneck.
But back to the Kate Spade New York jacquard suit! I wasn’t sure if I would love the boxier fit of the blazer, but in the fabric it is in, it just works. The blazer runs true to size, but the pants are a bit tight. I usually wear a 4, but had to go up to a 6 in these because they were so tight in my thighs/quads. If you’re legs are on the muscular side, definitely go one size up in these.
I wanted the Kate Spade New York jacquard suit to be the focus of this wear to work look, so I paired it with understated black suede pumps (these ones are some of my most comfortable pumps! If you want to read more about them / the best heels for work be sure to read my “Guide to the Best Heels for Work”)
I knew I wanted a small cross body bag to complete this outfit, so I went with an older black cross body bag of mine. I love the shape of it and how it complements the shapes/patterns in the suit. I liked this particular bag with this suit because of the quality of the faux leather and the general design of the bag.
For well made designer bags that don’t break the bank, I always shop this “Bags under $300” page. You can be assured that all of the bags here are well made, on-trend designer bags, but the price point is reasonable. I’ve found the Tory Burch and Clare V bags listed here to be my personal favorites.
Well lovelies, this Kate Spade jacquard suit and I better get to work! It’s going to be a busy Monday for me; I’ve got a trial today and then a ton of files to prep for Court on Tuesday. I don’t know about you guys though, but I actually like busy Monday’s. I prefer to start the work week off with a bang – I’m more well rested & more focused than later in the week plus a busy day makes it fly by. Have a great start to your week everyone (and happy shopping!)
