Happy Monday! Is it freezing where you live? The temperatures here in Vancouver, Canada have been unseasonably cold throughout November. The silver lining to that has been the opportunity to to wear cozy winter clothes & beautiful winter coats way earlier than us Vancouverites usually get to!
This pastel blue coat from Sicily Clothing is one such coat. Sicily Clothing knows winter – and they have your back when it comes to staying stylish during a Canadian winter. Why is that you ask? Well …

Sicily Clothing is a Canadian outerwear company – so you know they make coats that can handle Canadian winter weather! Sicily Clothing is based in Montreal, and they are a family owned business; which I love. Their goal is to create outstanding, quality outerwear designed for Canadians. With the market filled with so many American brands, it’s great to see a Canadian company that is producing beautiful pieces designed with us Canadians (and our winter needs!) in mind.
Sicily Clothing focuses on two main coat styles – their puffer collection & their luxury wool collection. The puffer collection is crafted with the finest quality materials, and their luxury wools are sewn locally in Montreal, with materials gathered from Italy and around the world.
The coat I am wearing here is part of Sicily Clothing’s wool collection and I am in love with the pastel blue color. Something about chilly winter weather always makes me reach for pastel colors – especially blue. Sicily Clothing has a number of different styles of coat this year in pastel blue; including the CELINE and the SHADOW. My exact coat is the PRINCESS in baby blue, which is not currently on the website, but stay tuned!
One of my favorite color combinations during the winter is pastel blue & grey. I love mixing different shades of blues & greys into a cozy outfit. As you can see, for today’s outfit I decided to wear this pastel blue winter coat with a light grey shift dress and dark grey over the knee boots. I cannot recommend these OTK boots enough (I also have them in black). They are affordable dupes of the very expensive stuart weitzman boots, and they are some of the only OTK boots I have found that actually stay in place!! It’s such a pet peeve of mine when boots wiggle down, and these don’t do that at all.
For all of you lucky ducks that don’t have weather quite as wintery, I wanted to show you how I would style the Sicily Clothing coat for slightly warmer temps – with my tweed bow heels:
The Sicily Clothing coat is the perfect length in that with OTK boots you stay completely covered and cozy, and with a pair of heels you look polished and ready for your day! To commute to the office; this is exactly what I would wear- the Sicily Clothing coat with my new favorite tweed bow heels (I’ve got a post reviewing the quality, size, etc. of these heels here if you missed it!)
Have a great Monday everyone – I hope you stay warm, cozy, & stylish!
