“Feminist” Faux Fur Coat c/o Maggie May Jackets // Similar Red Hat // Similar Red Pants // Red Heels
Day 2 was my first full day of this fashion week and it was a great one. I started the day with a visit to a PR company showroom, and then an event at Drybar hosted by DL1961 denim. It was so nice to get my hair done – one last thing I had to worry about on a busy day!
Following my meeting and the DL1961 event, I had three runway shows on day 2. All three were really different from one another and all incredibly cool.

Fashion Hong Kong was such a cool runway show because it featured 4 designers in one show- giving the audience a wide variety of fashion trends. The first three above are, in order, 112 mountainyam, anveglosa & heaven please. I loved seeing a number of designers/collections all from Hong Kong – it was such a fun experience.
Three of my favorite pieces from the entire runway show are the plaid set from heaven please, the all white number from anveglosa and the suit with printed overcoat from 112 mountainyam.

The Fall/Winter Nonie collection was full of layered looks, minature prints, and lots of earth tones. This is the second season I have been able to attend the Nonie show (catch my recap on her collection last year here). I was so excited to check out her collection last year since Nonie is a Canadian designer (yay!) and she is loved by Meghan Markle – a definite style inspiration of mine.
The ‘royally loved’ designer wowed again this year with her fall/winter 2019 collection. I love her menswear-inspired pieces, the drapey fits are perfect for a casual fall look that oozes simplicity and effortless style.
Chiara Boni La Petite Robe is a brand known for stunning cocktail and evening dresses (See my post from the fall here). The fall/winter 19 collection was no exception to that, as the above three looks clearly show. I love the sweetheart necklines and the mix of pastel and jewel tones. The first dress above was one I was particularly intrigued by; it reminds me of a 1960s flight attendant meets sleek modern spy. Definitely a dress I want to add to my wardrobe!
What surprised me this year though was not the beautiful dresses, which I expected, but the unique matching sets! How cool are these below sets! As someone who lives in pant suits at work, I love the idea of bringing a pant style outfit into my cocktail attire. The middle teal blue velvet is probably my favorite look from this year’s collection.
After the Chiara Boni show, I went to an event with Aveda. I have been so lucky to work with Aveda during New York Fashion week as I’ve been a fan of them for ages. You all know my best friend Maddie who is my hair stylist; well she is an Aveda stylist (the salon she opened last year, Salon Nine, is an Aveda salon) so I have been using Aveda products for as long as I can remember! I love the shampure and blue malva shampoo/conditioners, and just recently was gifted by Aveda the new blow dry spray that helps dry hair faster and I can’t wait to try it!
After day 2 of Fashion Week Aveda had a little party for some bloggers and other fashion week attendees and it was great to unwind and catch up with fellow bloggers. I also got my hair curled again so it looked fresh for my New York night out!
That’s a wrap on day two 🙂
GIrl, your style is impeccable. Loving this recap! Thanks so much! XO

Thank you so much! The red heels are so great (in my opinion) because they remind me of the Balenciaga sock booties , but they are so, so comfortable and under $50!
