Finding affordable women’s suits in general is tough; but finding an affordable one that is cream or white? That’s practically impossible. …. Until now that is! I found this beautiful cream pant suit with a total cost of less than $100.
That’s right! This suit is under a hundred bucks *happy dance*. The reason it’s so hard to find a good white or cream pant suit is that generally more affordable suits are unlined or made with thinner materials. … bit of a problem in a light colored suit. I think we can all agree that going to the office in something see-through is straight out of a nightmare (… right up there with the recurring one I have that I show up to take my LSAT and realize I’m naked. Anyone else?? Just me?? 🤣)
This pant is not see through (thankfully) and is quite well made for the price. The fit is a classic fitted shape. As far as fit, the blazer runs true to size, and I would say a bit small in the pants (I’d go one size up if you’re ordering online).
With spring finally in full force, it’s nice to break away from the black and navy work wear (you may remember my post on my favorite colored suit for spring!) This cream suit is another perfect one as a professional outfit for women for spring 2019. If you’re in an office with a professional dress code or you have a spring/summer meeting with a professional dress code, this cream suit would be a great choice.
Professional outfits for spring 2019 definitely call for lighter colors and fabrics. My favorite way to style a cream suit is with a cream top. I love monochromatic looks in general, and with a lighter colored outfit, going monochrome can help ensure your outfit stays polished and professional.
My rose gold heels are my favorite shoes to style with a cream suit – you can’t go wrong with metallic footwear with cream pants or a cream skirt!
I’m on holidays (officially) starting today! I’m looking forward to spending time with my family this Easter. Then, my mom and I are off to New York for 4 days (my birthday present to her) and I am beyond excited!
I haven’t been to New York outside of fashion week in over a decade! We’re going to check out a Broadway show and do fun touristy things like go to the Top of the Rock. If you have any New York City favorites, let me know in the comments below! I’m looking for everything from favorite touristy things, to cool stores, to the must-go-to coffee shops. Hook me up! 🙂
