One of the biggest trends for spring /summer this is year is snakeskin print. It’s been hugely popular in the winter’s past, but it’s been an interesting trend to see hit the spring/summer runway shows and now to see hit the actual streets this spring. If you’re wanting to add just a bit of this trend to your wardrobe, a great way to do that is with your shoes. When I found these ankle boots I knew I had found the snakeskin boots you need this spring!
white blazer dress // snakeskin boots // sunglasses // makeup: highlighter palette, lipstick
This whole outfit is one I am so excited to share with you because 1) I haven’t shared a more sexy night-out outfit in ages and 2) this outfit is so affordable. The snakeskin boots you need this spring, the dress, & the sunglasses come to under $15o total!
These snakeskin boots are under $50, and I must say I am very impressed with the quality for the price. I also love the height of the heel and the pointed toe.
Ankle boots paired with mini dresses are a great style for spring. It can be boho with a floral shift mini dress & suede ankle boots, or you can dress it up like I did here. I wanted to style the snakeskin boots in a ‘night out’ look, so I paired them with this gorgeous white blazer mini dress.
I love the puffed sleeve shoulders on this dress – it is such a flattering & slimming detail. I’m always wary of buying white dresses online in case they are see-through, but this dress is actually a really nice thick material with a fair bit of stretch.
The one thing I will note about the blazer dress though is that it is really short. If you are 5’5 or under, it will probably be great, but as someone who is 5’8, it definitely is shorter than I would like. I’m wearing booty shorts under it, and in the fall/winter will probably style it over black leggings.
Last thing I wanted to mention today – my makeup! I rarely talk about my makeup in my outfit posts, but i am so beyond impressed by my new highlighter palette that I have to tell you about it. I mean, look how glowy my skin is in these photos!! This is definitely my favorite new makeup product. I’m wearing 2 of the 4 highlighter shades in these photos – marshmallow & butterscotch.
Thanks for tuning in for today’s outfit post! I hope you have an amazing weekend ahead of you! I’m excited because two of my blogger friends are in town from Portland, and I’ll be hanging out with them at two events tomorrow night. Then I fully intend to take some ‘me time’ on Saturday and do yoga, have a bubble bath & catch-up on podcasts!
I’m currently listening to: Armchair Expert, Blogging Unscripted, and Him & Her by The Skinny Confidential. I am on the hunt for new podcasts though, I really want to expand the types and styles I am listening to. So, if you have a podcast you recommend, please let me know in the comments below! Thank you!

You’re so right. This IS a sexy date-night look. And I’m here for it, that’s for sure! I love the blazer style to the dress. Thanks for being honest about the length. I’m slightly taller as well, and I have a super long torso, so dresses are usually EXTRA mini on me haha. Love those snakeskin boots like crazy. They’re perfect to spice up a spring or summer outfit!
