This seersucker jumpsuit is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces for spring/summer. You can’t help but feel summery when you wear seersucker and this jumpsuit has been putting me in the best mood for the warm weather we’ve been having here in Vancouver.
I’ve seen a lot of seersucker dresses over the years, which are beautiful, but I really like that Eliza J has taken seersucker and created a jumpsuit since it’s nice to have something in this material that you can wear on an active spring/summer day. I wore this look to hang out at the seawall, and I would wear it with keds or converse to bike the sea wall or go on a mini-adventure around town.
As always with Eliza J, I’m impressed by the quality of this seersucker jumpsuit. It’s lined, the zipper sits perfectly, and the pleats on the front make the jumpsuit extra flattering/slimming. I also love the attention to detail with the ruffle shoulders. How cute are they!
One thing I should note about the jumpsuit is the fit. I’m 5’8 and it just fits me length wise without giving me a ridiculous wedgie lol. If you’re under 5’8 you should have no problem, but if you’re tall I (sadly) wouldn’t recommend this one!
If you’re not a jumpsuit kinda girl, or if you’re too tall for the jumpsuit but love this look, I have good news for you! Eliza J just – as in less than a week ago – released a sheath dress version of this jumpsuit!! Same seersucker material, same adorable ruffle shoulders … just in dress form. 😊
As mentioned above, these pictures were taken on the sea wall here in Vancouver. Honestly one of my favorite things to do in Vancouver in the spring/summer is grab a coffee (or iced coffee) and walk around the sea wall. Most of my Vancouver-born friends think it’s weird that I enjoy it, but I think because I didn’t grow up on the water, I am still so in awe of living by the ocean and I’ll take any opportunity I get to be near it!
Being right on the ocean is definitely my favorite thing about living in Vancouver. What’s the best thing about the city you live in?! (Seriously, tell me to help with my travel bug! I need to know where to visit next and love finding off-the-beaten path cities!)
