This peach pantsuit caught my eye as soon as I saw it – I love that it is professional looking while still being fashion forward. I wore it to work last week and received a number of compliments. When I told people where it was from, they were shocked. You will never believe where this pantsuit is from…
This gorgeous peach pantsuit is from…. drumroll please… Amazon!! 😱 That’s right; Amazon. A place you would never think to shop for work wear! I am a huge fan of Amazon for books, home decor, even cute accessories & t-shirts, but until this summer I never would have thought that I could find quality work wear there.
Of course, it is Amazon so you don’t always have quality control in a way you would want, so I do recommend only buying pieces that you have seen on bloggers and / or where the seller has positive reviews. I’ve now ordered 5 suits off of Amazon, and only 1 was a dud. It actually still wasn’t terrible; but the material was not as good as expected. I checked the reviews after that and realized that multiple people had indicated that in their reviews. #LessonLearned.
I’ll share a bunch on my other Amazon work wear favorites at the end of today’s post!
This peach pantsuit is my most recent work wear purchase from Amazon. It is under $100! It fits true to size, and it’s lined so it hangs well and isn’t see-through. It is a bit snug, but does in general fit true to size (I’m wearing a medium).
As far as the rest of this outfit, I decided to go with a more fashion-forward look. I’ve been wearing it to the office with a cream blouse, but for this look I wanted more of a pop. Leopard print has been huge this summer, and I usually don’t like leopard print outside of fall/winter. The exception to that is leopard print paired with blush / peach. This light leopard print tank top pairs perfectly with the peach pantsuit.
I’m also wearing a belt bag (clearly) which has been a popular trend for a while now. While belt bags look great worn normally around your waist, another trendy way to wear them is across one shoulder / your chest like I have done here. I actually find it really practical, which is a nice bonus!
