My Favorite Outfit in Los Angeles

I had such an amazing time in Los Angeles last week; I always feel so creatively renewed after being in LA. Because this trip was, for the most part, about fashion (brand meetings, show room visits and exploring / shooting outfits with my friend Jess), I was lucky enough to wear a ton of fun outfits; including this printed Amazon dress.

This Amazon dress reminds me so much of Dolce & Gabbana – the colors, the print, the vibrance – but it’s actually an under $40 Amazon find! *happy dance*

The dress does run a bit small, so size up one size if you are ordering it! Also – a note to my Canadian readers – you can get it on amazon.ca as well, but it’s $100 there, so I opted to order it on Amazon.com and just sent it to my US PO box. If you have a way of shipping to the US, definitely save yourself the money and do that! 🙂

As far as the rest of this outfit, everything I’m wearing is affordable! My handbag reminds me of Cult Gaia bags, and my sunnies remind me of Chloe. I love when I can find designer inspired looks for less to share with all of you. Also, this is just my favorite outfit I wore in LA because it feels retro, tropical, and trendy all at once.

I’ll be sharing more of my LA content over the next few weeks; so be sure to come back for that! I tried to balance out any designer pieces with affordable finds, and find outfits that were fashion forward, but that you would still feel comfortable wearing out.

Right now I am back at my parents place in small town Ontario…. it could not be a bigger change from LA haha. I’m home because my sister and I are planning a 30th wedding anniversary party for our parents, which has been quite an experience! I had no idea how much work went into party planning. At this point though most things are finally done (flowers, cake, music, etc) and I’m just finishing off the details for decor, fun games, etc. My parents were married in 1989, so I’m doing some fun ’89 inspired things that I’m hoping will be a huge hit!
