The Lela Rose presentation was of one the most elegant experiences I had during New York Fashion Week. Forgoing a typical runway location, Lela Rose had an outdoor presentation by the Piers, complete with a catwalk of yellow rose petals.
The inspiration for the latest Lela Rose collection is the New York city skyline … or to be more exact; vintage postcards of the NYC skyline. The pastel colors are so beautiful and the skyline sketches come across as modern but totally wearable. Below are my favorites:
The Alice & Olivia presentation was one of the things I was most excited about going into this fashion week season. I am such a die-hard Alice & Olivia fan – I love their bold colors & prints and the focus on female empowerment. The presentation did not disappoint! A&O set up the presentation with different colored rooms with coordinating pieces from the new collection in each room.
Known for her bright colors, one thing designer Stacey Bendet did differently with the Spring/Summer 2020 collection is focus quite heavily on color blocking, and specifically colorblocking unique color combinations. Layering pieces are also really prevalent in this collection. Check out my favorites below:

The outfit formula that is my go to for feeling fierce is a pantsuit with a bralette. Given that A&O is all about female empowerment, this felt like a day where I needed that outfit formula. I paired my cobalt blue WHBM suit with white mules, a black bralette and the coolest sequin hat by LA based accessory brand Knight Beauties.
