14 Brands Donating to COVID-19 Relief Efforts

April 21, 2020

Because I am always looking for a silver lining in situations (.. and because who I am kidding, I’m still stress shopping thanks to COVID-19) I decided to look into brands and stores that are helping during the COVID-19 pandemic and I was thrilled to find so many brands that are giving back, and so many unique ways in which they are doing so. I’ve curated a list of 14 brands donating to COVID-19 relief efforts that are brands I love, that I know you will too. Let’s get to it.

14 Brands Donating to COVID-19 Relief Efforts

Billie: Yes, those razors you’ve been seeing all over instagram (which, sidenote, I’m going to try out and tell you if they really live up to the hype!)  What I didn’t know is that Billie also has a ton of other clean beauty products worth shopping! They gave back by donating $100,000 to foodbanks across America.

Casetify: Phone case and accessory company Casetify is donating 100% of the proceeds of their UV sanitizer to Global Giving’s COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Gymshark: This is SO cool – athletic wear company Gymshark, recognizing how many personal trainers are now out of work, is employing trainers (yes, paying them) to teach classes through their Facebook & Instagram lives. What a unique and clever way to help these men & women who’ve lost their jobs in the wake of COVID-19!

Everlane: ALL of the proceeds from sales of their 100% human collection‘ are being donated to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund.

Estee Lauder: Not a direct sales = donation situation here, but I like supporting brands that are doing good behind the scenes and Estee Lauder is a worthy mention in that regard. They have donated two million surgical masks to doctors and nurses in NY state! So, if you want to support them by buying their products, go for it! And as a bonus, they are part of the Sephora Sale which is going on right now so you can pick up the world’s BEST foundation, on sale, and support this doing-good brand. Win-win-win!

Keds: In another unique (and clever marketing) idea, Keds is giving back shoes to nurses, doctors and people working on the front lines. You can nominate someone in your life who is working on the frontlines (check out their instagram stories for how to nominate people, it’s in their story highlights. In exchange for nominating someone they send you a code to purchase a pair of shoes of their choosing to gift to that person!

Kendra Scott: 50% of the proceeds of their Everlyne Bracelet supports Feeding America.

Knix: Bra & underwear company Knix in addition to making ah-mazing intimates and leading the charge on body positivity and seeing all bodies represented in their campaigns, is fundraising to help get PPE equipment to people on the front lines. What they have done is worked with their suppliers to switch them to making/providing Knix with PPE products to be donated. You can donate to help Knix provide PPE here. As of April 3, 2020 they have the Robert Kerr Foundation on board, they donated $100k, and are matching all pledges right now (up to another $100k) dollar for dollar!

L’Occitane: In case you needed another reason to treat yourself to luxurious handcreams and amazing smelling bath products (… we’re in a global pandemic, you did not need another reason to treat yourelf but I’ve got one for you anyway lol). L’Occitane switched up their manufacturing to manufacture 70,000 liters of hand sanitizer to be donated  to health authorities & healthcare workers in France. They’re also donating soap and hand cream to staff of Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris, which I understand is the Paris university hospital trust.

Mansur Gavriel: Celeb favorite handbag company Mansur Gavriel is donating 10% of the proceeds from sales of their iconic bucket bag to Global Giving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund.

NYDJ: The popular denim brand is having a huge sale (25% off sitewide) and 10% of all online sales are being donated to the United Way’s COVID-19 Response Fund.

Senreve: 30% of proceeds of their full price handbags and 15% of their sale handbags (15% off with code GIVE15) are being donated to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

This Saves Lives: The brand behind the delicious snackbar (you know, the one that Kristen Bell is a spokeswoman for) is matching all purchases on its website and donating their bars (classic bars, kids bars etc) to a food insecure family in the U.S. who are in greater need as a result of COVID-19. I couldn’t find out what charity or non-profit they are teaming up with to figure out who gets the bars, but I trust that they’ve found someone trustworthy.

Thrive Market: The wildly popular health-concious online grocery store is collecting donations for their COVID-19 relief fund and matching all donations dollar for dollar. With their relief fund they are giving grocery stipends to families in need right now.
