July Recap – Adventures, Outfits & More + Nordstrom Giveaway!

July 30, 2020

I can’t believe July is almost over and we are 4.5 months into this new COVID era. It’s been a wild ride and while, to be honest, a lot of things are still pretty  crappy right now there is also a lot of positive change happening in the world and I feel like I have a lot to be grateful for – including what a wonderful month July was! Here’s a little “July 2020 recap” for you – sharing everything from what adventures I had, what I bought (*too many clothes* LOL), and what shows Alex and I watched this month. Hopefully you find some things in here that you want to try out!

Getting away is so important! After 5 months, we are now on vacation in the great smoky mountains and it is so pretty and nice to be away.

  4. Sounds like you got a lot done and had a great month! Good luck on the case! xoxo, Sarah

  5. You are really selling me on Veronica Mars – I haven’t watched any of it really if I’m being honest. I think maybe one or two episodes but I never got into it. I need to binge but I just saw that Shameless has a new season and I am excited!

    • Lee says:

Oh my gosh you neeeeed to. It’s the best! Give it the first like half a season before you decide because, yea, the first season feels very outdated now so it will take a while to get into. But it’s worth it because the movie and new 4th season are great!

This was such a fun post to read. I love round-ups like this because it gives me insight into what someone’s life actually looks like. Your purchases are all so fantastic. The pistachio suit set and the pampas grass are my favorites! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the folklore album. I’m literally listening to it as I type right now. It’s phenomenal (of course it is). I can also relate to the way you feel about Veronica Mars. That’s how I feel about Gilmore Girls. It’s literally a part of who I am! Special shows like that are so meaningful 🙂 I’m dying to try the watermelon fries recipe you shared as well!

Aw that’s so sweet, thank you! I love doing posts like this, it feels like I can connect with my blog readers more.
Haha I love that you are as into folklore as I am! so good! And yassss Gilmore Girls is another one of my favorites. I loved it!

Another blogging lawyer who likes to eat healthily – I am so glad I’ve stumbled across your blog, Lee! Your photo from the Lake Louise trip looks incredible – it’s been on my “to go” list for so long, it’s such an incredible location! I love the Good Girls too – what a fun show.

    • Lee says:

Aw thank you Katerina – nice to ‘meet’ you!! You definitely have to visit Lake Louise at somepoint, it is so breathtaking!!
