Looking for budget friendly holiday outfits this year? Me too! The holidays are certainly going to look a little different this year (goodbye office holiday parties!) but one thing that isn’t cancelled is holiday cheer. We may be staying home but we can still get into the holiday spirit with a festive outfit (and a cocktail lol).
I know that many people are on a tighter budget this year and looking to spend less than they normally would on holiday outfits. So, I came up with outfits that are festive and not too fancy (hello Zoom holiday parties!) that also don’t break the bank. Nothing I’m sharing is over $80 and almost everything is under $50.
My go-to casual budget friendly holiday outfit this year is this red sweater dress and plaid scarf. The sweater dress is so cozy and on sale for just $30! My plaid scarf is actually a men’s scarf, and it’s one of my faves! It adds a nice pop of color to the all red look. I’m wearing my go-to OTK boots (You’ve seen them in so many posts) and they’re on sale right now for less than $80! Snag these ASAP!

Alright, let’s get to my other budget friendly holiday outfits! I’ve got 9 other ones to share with you. The links to everything are below. I hope you find some style inspo to get you feeling holiday ready! XO
Shop Outfit 2 / Outfit 3:
I love both these looks for something casual this holiday season. All the pieces are ones you’ll be able to wear again in the new year as separates without them feeling too Christmas-y. I just bought the gold glitter flats and they are SO comfortable and well-made. They have cushion comfort in the insole.
Shop Outfit 4 / Outfit 5:
These are great outfit options if you want something a little dressier. The gold sequin dress would also be great for a (Zoom / socially distanced) NYE party!
Shop Outfit 6 / Outfit 7:
I can’t get enough of ‘casual sequins’ this year (you’ll see another item below) and this sequin tank is perfect for that. It adds sparkle but can easily be dressed down with jeans. The second look is one I wore last year and am obsessed with still!
Shop Outfit 8:
I had to add one splurge item to this round-up for all you die-hard Christmas lovers and these Santa earrings are it! They are so adorable and come in different ethnicities which I think is awesome. There’s also a Mrs. Claus version if that’s more your jam!
Shop Outfit 9 / Outfit 10:
I love both of these dresses so much! They’re both dresses you could easily wear again (score) and they’re just such easy ‘outfit in 1’ type looks. Add sparkly accessories and you’ve got a holiday look.
These are such cute outfit ideas! I love that red dress with the puff sleeves. How chic and I can’t believe it’s only $30!!! Xx.

A bold red dress definitely makes a statement for the holidays, even if we are celebrating remotely. I’m of course most drawn to the sequin dress!
Chic on the Cheap
Haha me too girl = sequins will also be my go to!
Such cute Christmas outfit ideas! I’d love to pull out some sequins but I’ve been dressing so casually with everything, haha! I might need to pick a glittery bag or something instead for Christmas day 🙂
