Sequin pants give me all the holiday vibes (perfect for New Years Eve) but also are great to dress up all winter long. I know sequins can seem intimidating so I wanted to share 5 ways to style sequin pants and give you some outfit inspiration for what is a surprisingly versatile piece of clothing.
Over on instagram a lot of my followers have expressed an interest in seeing more ways to style the same item vs. just new items all the time. Is that something you, my awesome blog readers would be interested? I was thinking I could make ‘5 ways to style’ a regular series here on LLB. Let me know your thoughts on this!
On to my 5 outfits! I’ll share a photo, shopping links (click the image to be taken directly to the retailer) and thoughts on each outfit below. First though, let’s talk about these sequin pants. They are 50% off and under $60 right now. They are SUCH great quality. They are lined with a satin feel material so they aren’t scratchy at all and they are really stretchy making them comfortable to wear /move around in all day. One thing to note though: they run BIG. Definitely size down a size from your usual in these!
This outfit is my classic ‘holiday preppy’ look. I’ve worn a variation of this every year for the past few years, but with these years sequin wide leg pants I love it even more. Add a rhinestone or red velvet headband to take the preppy vibes to the next level.
Shop Outfit 1:
I love me a a faux collar sweater lol. I have a concerning number of faux collar sweaters in my closet, but this embellished one is hands down my favorite. I wear this sweater to work a lot, but wanted to show that you can also style it with sequin pants for a post-work look. I went with ankle boots to keep this look a bit more casual. If you’re somewhere where you can go to restaurants right now this is 10/10 what I would wear to meet someone for dinner or drinks this season!
Shop Outfit 2:
One of my favorite trends right now is wearing a bralette/crop top over a shirt. It’s flattering and makes any outfit look fashion forward with minimal effort. My exact crop top and collarless button down are sold out, but I’ll link similar ones below!
Shop Outfit 3:
For a casual holiday look, throw on a red shirt or sweater with sequin pants and you are good to go! This thermal longsleeve tee is from Old Navy and is on sale for under $10! I highly recommend it because it is the softest fabric ever! It feels like wearing a pajama top in public. Major win.
Shop Outfit 4:
Contrast sequins with sheer fabric for a stand-out holiday look. My exact sheer blouse is older so I’m linking some similar black blouses with sheer detailing. I also still love the trend that made it big at fashion week last year of sheer socks with high heels. It’s a great (and affordable) way to change the look of any outfit.

And that’s it! Which of the 5 looks is your favorite?!
