Hello & happy Saturday! I never post on Saturdays, but couldn’t wait to share this wedding dress post with you all! Over on instagram today, I’m taking over the David’s Bridal’s instagram account to share wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, accessories and more. I wanted to share this blog post as well so that I could give you a more in-depth review of some of my favorite 2021 David’s Bridal wedding dresses.
At the end of this post I’ll also be sharing a sneak peek at some of David’s Bridal items I’m getting for our wedding. If you’re a bride-to-be I highly recommend checking out not only their wedding dresses, but the accessories, bridal party gifts, and other cute items I’ll be sharing at the end.
This dress was one of my favorites that I tried. It’s from their Galina Signature collection. The Galina dresses were my personal favorites at David’s Bridal because of the attention to detail; as you can see in the lace appliques in this dress! I’m wearing the dress in the ivory/cashmere color but it comes in true ivory as well. The rhinestone belt is attached, but if it’s not your thing you can remove it or layer a ribbon belt over top.
This dress is one I had to share because it is THE DRESS for the bride who wants to customize. This dress is stunning and the tulle ‘sleeves’ are detachable or can be worn low hanging down around your arms, or tied up in any way you want (here I’ve got them in a Halter style) The tulle overskirt that you see starting from hips and creating a train is also removable – which is great if you want the flexibility of having a train for your ceremony but not for your reception. This dress is under $1000, which blows my mind!
For something completely different, there is this organza mermaid dress with ruffled skirt. This is for the bride who wants to show off her shape but also have the ‘pouf’ feel of a ball gown, thanks to the ruffled skirt. I love this dress because it is the most flattering. Seriously. If you’re wanting to complement your curves and feel like you’re held in, this dress is for you. It is a corset back and the material is thick (perfect if you want to smooth over your stomach area). The way they’ve laid the organza on diagonal panels creates a slimming and elongating look to the dress. 10/10 recommend this , I think it’s my favorite of the David’s Bridal wedding dresses. Oh, and this one is under $700!!
I wanted to share this dress because it is part of a collection of David’s Bridal wedding dresses that is incredibly affordable. I know, especially after 2020, that many brides can’t afford wedding dresses that are thousands of dollars and those brides absolutely still deserve a beautiful dress that they feel amazing in. For this reason, David’s Bridal has a collection of dresses under $500. This dress, you won’t even believe it, is under $150. I think this would be especially beautiful at a summer 2021 micro-wedding!
I love this David’s Bridal wedding dress because it has a designer look at a great price point. One of the big trends in bridal this year is 3-D elements and this dress has just that with the large floral appliques. This dress just looks and feels luxe. The spaghetti straps are all beaded which is such an elegant touch and the beading is carried down throughout the fitted bodice.
Ooo this dress is sexy! If you’re a bride wanting something with a little spice this dress is for you. The illusion lace is so breathtaking and the slit adds a bit of drama without being overly revealing.
Alright, that’s all I’ve got to share as far as dresses go! I hope you loved them and found this David’s Bridal wedding dresses review helpful! 🙂 I can’t leave you though before sharing the other David’s Bridal things I am loving. I haven’t figured out exactly what I’m getting yet for my wedding(s) … yes weddings with an ‘s’ – read about our 2021 wedding plans. I do know though that I’ll be getting a few of these items, including the bride and flower girl jean jackets.
