Have you heard of online retailer Chicwish? Lately I’ve seen a ton of ads for them and have seen some other bloggers sharing their pieces so I wanted to try them out for myself and give you a full Chicwish review. To do this I reached out to Chicwish and they agreed to send my 4 items of my choosing. This review is not sponsored though.
As you can see in the collage photo above, I picked out four bump-friendly dresses and I’ll chat about each in turn below with pricing, sizing info etc., but first I’ll start with my overall thoughts on Chicwish.
I’ll cut right to the chase here and start off with my overall impression of Chicwish. Overall I would give them 4/5 stars. I found the dresses were definitely better quality than the cheap online retailers (SheIn, etc), but for the higher price point I would have liked even better quality. The general craftmanship of the pieces I tried was good (good strong stitching, good silhouettes) but the fabric choices feel a bit cheap / thin. I’d still recommend them (hence the 4/5) because the pieces are beautiful and will last, but just be aware that the materials may not be the most luxurious.

This rainbow ombre maxi dress is a lookalike for a much more expensive designer dress. It’s not a ‘dupe’ but rather just inspired by, which I like.
This dress is gorgeous in person, the colors, the tie sleeve, every detail is great. I will say though that it is very low cut so you may want to wear something under or, as I plan to do, wear it as a beach cover up dress.

This might be my favorite dress of the bunch. It makes for a perfect work day look! It comes with a separate belt you can attach – but I was not impressed with the quality of the belt (cheap plastic buckle). Luckily the belt is completely separate and the dress has normal belt loops so you can also style it with any belt of your choosing, or just wear it as is as I’m doing here (I found no belt more comfortable over the baby bump).
I give this dress a 10 / 10 and think it looks much more expensive than it is!

This dress is a gorgeous option for summer – and it’s the dress I saw on multi bloggers that made me want to try Chicwish in the first place! It’s designer inspired and really just the perfect summer party dress. The back is scrunched and there is a zipper up the back, making the fit of this one just perfect on every body. The straps are also self-tie, again giving you control in how the dress sits so it looks perfect on you.
The only thing that disappointed me about this dress is that the fabric is pretty thin. However, given that it’s for summer this may actually be a good thing in the hot weather!

Does this dress look familiar? LOL. Yes, it’s the same as dress 3. What can I say, I loved the look of this dress so much that I snagged it in two patterns. I did size up in this one so I could compare the fits. The L definitely is a bit big through my rib cage and chest area so I would say this dress does fit true to size and I’d recommended grabbing your regular size.
Hope you enjoyed this review! As always, if you have questions let me know! If there are other boutiques / stores you’d like to see me review items from definitely let me know that as well!… Though another review may not be until after Baby B is born lol. I’ve officially reached the stage of pregnancy where I feel so freaking uncomfortable! My back is killing me and it feels like there is zero space left inside me. I’m 36 weeks on Thursday so likely only a month left to go!
I have that rainbow dress and use it as a bathing suit coverup! Cutest!

Thanks Danielle!!
I’ve always loved Chicwish! In fact, for YEARS, their items took up about 85% of my wardrobe. One of my favorite things that they sell: skorts. I absolutely hate wearing mini skirts because I’m constantly self-conscious about showing my goods to the world (long leg probs), but most skorts have a skirt front and shorts back. Chicwish’s mini skirts are almost ALL made with built-in shorts beneath. Nothing uncomfortable or tight or weird. Just silky shorties that allow me the freedom I need in my minis! They also have the coziest sweaters for autumn!! I love the pieces you chose. The yellow dress is my favorite on you!
I had no idea about that! That is so cool – i definitely want to pick up some skorts now!!
These are all super cute options but I am loving the yellow print dress. It’s so perfect for summer and looks adorable on you & your bump!
Thank you so much Amanda! I love that one too – I just wore it for a brunch on Father’s Day this past weekend!
